Lauri Day helped me to come up with a design concept. I sent her photos of items I had appraised, and she created a "treasure trove" look for me. She designed a backdrop of tortoise shell, and arranged the photos I sent her into a very rich design with a wonderful red and brown color scheme. I was thrilled! It's a contemporary, polished website with great graphics and style. I love how the page stays the same size, and the titles on each page are consistent and don't "jump around" in their placement when you navigate from page to page.
My clients have had rave reviews for my website. I have also had Lauri design business cards that have the same look as my website. I refer KNXU Communications for website services. In addition, they host my website, and I receive a free tracking system with my service. I can look anytime to see what visitors have come to my site, how long they've stayed, and how they found me (which search engine/keywords they used).
I was initially intimidated by the process of getting my business online. Lauri Day was very helpful in explaining the process thoroughly, even though she is located 3,000 miles from me. All of our correspondence took place over the phone and email. I now have a beautiful, professional website that shows my business off to its best advantage. Note from Lauri Day: The cost for Lauren's website (she doesn't mind me telling you this) was $250 flat fee for 3 basic pages. Because it was a Custom Basic site, she also paid a design fee, which was four hours @ $65/hour ($260). The first three months of hosting (including email & tracker) are free. After that, the hosting is $90/year.
