Our breeding program is still active and doing well, however, hay, pastureland, vet bills, staffing, equipment, and all of those good things that we need to help our horses have a complete and productive life costs money. It costs just over $2500 a year to keep each horse healthy, housed, and ambassadors of our colonial heritage. That's over $125,000 a year, not including the unexpected veterinary emergencies.

This year, we need your help more than ever. Many growers have stopped producing hay and we fear there will not be enough to sustain us for the rest of the year if we do not act quickly and buy enough to last us until next spring. This means we need as many sponsors as possible to keep our horses fed and healthy.
